Detailed invoice template, including timesheet.
When I first tried out Billings, I immediately realized I needed to use a new invoice template that would list details of each timeslip, including time entries, as well as have a timesheet section organized by day.
I couldn't find exactly what I needed on the support forums, and received no help from Marketcircle, nor a quote for making the template for me, so I made my own.
I offer it to anyone looking for something similar here simply as a gift that may save you the time and frustration I went through, with the caveat that it most definitely isn't professional level. I got it to the level I needed to get my invoices sent out. I make no guarantees that it won't crash and burn horribly, much less suit anyone else's particular needs.
I don't have a logo at the moment, so I moved up the invoice text to make more room. If you have a logo you'll want to move the logo vs. invoice text around to keep them from overlapping.
I expect that much of the F-Script in it could be done far better, just as I expect that much of the F-Script could have simply been avoided with some SQL statements. If I were a Marketcircle guru, I expect this would look better and have taken a lot less time to make. Oh well.
Hope someone finds it useful. If improvements were made, I'd love to have a copy of the changed template (look in the README inside the invoice bundle. Billings is a pretty great program, despite support/sales issues. Hope this can help someone get more out of the program.
Details: Gravity based template. Lists timeslips with comments and a per timeslip table of time entries with comments if any, and per time entry duration. After this page(s), next page contains a timesheet with a daily time spent on any timed entries, per day there were entries. Instead of listing individual time entries in the time sheet, only timeslips that had time billed that day are listed (since details on time entries are listed under each slip in the other section).
